COUNTDOWN TO MOVING DAY 5 (TEARS FOR FEARS)

COUNTDOWN TO MOVING DAY 5:

TEARS FOR FEARS:

Today has not been good.
No, not good at all.
It all began when the estate agent
Made an early telephone call.

It appears the cooker that was promised
Is to powerful for the apartment.
So I have to make do  with
One in the !Baby Belling! department.

It is a "Cooker" with two saucepan rings on top,
The oven part is not big enough to bake a cake.
I enquired would there be a reduce in rent,
He laughed, advising me that too much money has been spent.

Meaning that because of it being redecorated
And new carpets being bought.
To reduce the rent would
Be , to him am insult.

I've spent the day in tears,
Wondering "What have I Done?"
Oh if only I had my family around me,
My daughter and my son.

That too is out of the question,
I have come to realise.
So on this miserable Friday,
Which is "Moving Day Number Five"

    1. I am not at all pleased with the situation but if I don't move more drastic action will be taken by the agents of the apartment I am still living in.
      Thanks for a caring comment.

  3. He breaks his promise, but he's insulted? Sounds like he blew the budget.
Sorry to hear this, Yvonne. Cheer up, all is not lost.

    1. Hi Dixie, it is the fault of the electricity company, not enough power to service the building if I had that stove.

    1. The kitchen is not too small, but it's not enough electricity power to service the building if I have the stove I was promised,
Great to hear from you Gregg, always a pleasure.

  5. A cooker is a stove? How tiny is this place, anyway? Sorry the one you wanted won't fit.

    1. It's not the size of the apartment but it's all rather technical about electricity.
I have to move or I will be facing a judge.
      Many thanks for visiting.

  6. Looking at the big picture things are well under control. You've secured a place! That is a big relief Yvonne! Others that follow are just 'nice to have' and are surmountable. It is a bother only if they are material and critical and need a review. The direction is normalcy again and that's great!
