THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE.

THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE:

There was this lion
With an angry mane.
He was a man, and for legal reason
Can't tell you his name.

He wasn't a very pleasant person
In fact a nasty bully,
I suffered at his temper,
Took the full brunt fully.

He called me a "Witch"
Because of my epilepsy illness,
Causing me grief and many tears
I must confess.

Well he is out of my life,
I am pleased to say.
Even had me evicted from the apartment,
Making sure things was done his way.

I still ache from the horrendous move,
But feel more happier at last.
There is only one thing
My eyes do cast.

I am without a wardrobe,
To put my clothes in.
Although many of them
could end up in the bin.

Today I scoured the shops,
For an affordable wardrobe.
All I got for my trouble was an aching back,
You see most of them are self assembly flat pack
Now that is something I'm unable to do,
So my clothes in suitcases must remain.
I'll try again next week for a wardrobe.
Once I have got rid of my aches and pains.

    1. I hope so also, I did try second hand shops but they were too big to get up the stairs of my apartment.
      Thanks for calling by.

  2. I'm sorry, Yvonne! No one should be bullied or called bad names for having epilepsy or any other illness. I'm glad he's no longer in your life, although I'm sorry for how it happened. Sending you prayers!

  3. Not to be confused, because that lion wouldn't do that to you.
Maybe you could find a used one? From a place that delivers of course.

  4. What is material is now over. Having a place to stay solves 99% of the worries. Now it is just to think of things 'nice to have'. Mark Twain once said, "the fastest way to do anything is to do it one at a time!" Every best wishes Yvonne!

  5. I'm sorry you had to go through all of this. I hope your back feels better soon. Don't give up on your quest for an assembled wardrobe, as you shouldn't have to live out of your suitcase. Good luck, Yvonne!

    1. I dread to think if I tried to assemble a wardrobe what it would turn out like.
I will get a wardrobe however long I have to wait..
      Thanks for visiting.

  6. I picked up a metal clothes rack on wheels. When I find what I want, the rack will end up in the laundry room. Just a thought. Smile.

  7. What about one of those lightweight canvas ones? I know it is not quite the same as a sturdy wooden one but it might do the job. Hope you are settling into the new apartment.
