ENGLISHROSE:(ACROSTIC)
(when I first started writing
I went under the name EnglishRose)
Ever faithful ever true.
Never tell a lie to you.
Gentle as a summer's breeze,
Loyal to my many friends,
Is most essential as love I send.
Sincere in everything I do.
Happiness come shinning through.
Realistic in what life may deal.
Overcome obstacles as I cloimb many a hill,
Smiling at the new morning dew.
Ever faithful ever true.

And roses are beautiful, as are you.

Acrostic poems are such a good way to introduce children to poetry that has a different focus other than rhyme. When I was in my garden, I noticed that some of the roses have now begun to bud so now I must wait patiently to see what colours they turn out to be :) Have a lovely day, Yvonne :) Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
