I'M BEGINNING TO SEE THE LIGHT:

I'M BEGINNING TO SEE THE LIGHT:

After a time of illness,
Days  spent entirely alone.
To-day I began to see the light,
As I sat this morning at my home.

On the spur of the moment,
I rang my hairdresser near by.
Asked if he could make me look human again.
He laughed and replied"Sure, come on by".

This afternoon I set off,
Looking not a bit like me.
When I emerged two hours later
I was "Me" again for all the world to see.

I hope this light continues
As through the tunnel I go.
I still have problems to solve,
Hopefully they will soon go.

They say that "To every negative problem
There is a positive solution".
I shall have to sit and rethink my options again,
And get the right resolution.

To -day has been another step forward.
May tomorrow be the same.
I took a big step forward today.
No longer walking"Lame".

    1. I think I'm getting slowly there, I have just written to my daughter asking how long she intends to give me the silent treatment. I think 3 years is long enough.
      Thanks for your lovely comment.

  5. I am glad you're feeling better and more like yourself. The powers of a new hairdo is amazing.

By the way, I've been meaning to mention this. I don't know if you know or not but your Blogger profile is private, so every time you comment on my blog and I go to return a comment by clicking on your avatar, I can't get to your blog. I have to manually put your URL in to reach your blog. I just want you to know that in case others are trying to do the same thing.

    Have a great day! :)
