JELLY::

 JELLY:
I am the humble jelly,
Which is loved by many of you.
My flavours are orange and straberry
Just to name a few.

First I have boiling water
Poured over me, "Ouch" says I.
The water really hurts me
How I want to cry.

Then to add insult to injury,
I'm put in an ice box to set.
I'd rather be in the packaging
Now I begin to fret.

I'm left there for some hours,
Until it's time for tea.
Adored by the children,
Who jump up and down with glee.

By now I'm all stressed out.
With the proceedures of the day.
That's why I wobble about
And begin to sway.

Next time you see a jelly,
And it's not looking merry.
We'd much prefer to be in a trifle,
Made with lashings of sherry.

  1. There is always room for jello! Loved jello as a kid, especially with grapes in it. Now you made me hungry for jello.
