WEATHER FOR SWANS AND DUCKS:

WEATHER FOR SWANS AND DUCKS:

It's weather for swans and ducks.
Why oh why oh why?
Are we having all this torrential rain
In the summer month of July?

I feel sorry for the holiday makers,
Who to the beach they cannot go.
I suppose they could go to the lake
And sit in lovely canoe.

We've had one sunny day this week.
Thursday if I remember right.
I did go to the beach,
What a wonderful sight.

Perhaps tomorrow will be better,
The sun shinning high in the sky.
But why oh why all this rain
In the summer month of July?

  2. I don't mind rain in July as it cools it off a bit here. But you're area isn't humid like mine, so cooler is not better.

    1. Yes I suppose where you live it's much hotter than here, When we went to Wahington DC a few years ago on Memorial Day it was 91 degrees.
Thanks for your comment Alex, always welcomed.

  3. Too bad Los Angeles can't get some of your rain. Southern California needs rain badly.

  4. What a lovely picture, so cool and restful. I asked myself the same question back in May and June when we had so much rain everything flooded. I didn't complain though. After 5 years of drought we needed it. And now, with the temperatures reaching 100, I'd like to see some of that rain. We never turn down rain in Texas. :)
