AN EASTER POEM TO MY DAUGHTER:
Dear Donna,
I thought of you last Christmas,
Whilst missing the family fun.
I also missed Harry's birthday,
Also the other grandkids and Rob, my eldest son.
I thought of you on Mother's Day,
A daughter I love so much.
I recall the first time I held you
Your tiny hand, my finger you did clutch.
I will think of you at Easter,
A time known for starting anew.
Could you with your generous heart,
Make this possible for me and you?
Love Mum xx
PS: I sent this to her with some cash for her,
her husband and son, but got no reply.
