Now that're your eating a good varied diet,
Excercise is a most important thing.
It may not involve a visit to the gym,
Just ordinary walking should give you that zing.
A walk around the block a couple of times a day,
Is all one needs to do.
Why not buy a pedometre,
To establish how many steps or how few you do?
Even walking from room to room,
Pushes your step intake up considerably.
When you get into the walking habit,
It just comes naturally.
If like me you live by the coast,
And is within easy reach.
Why not take advantage,
And take a refreshing walk along the beach?
The sea air is an extra bonus,
Getting fresh air in your lungs.
I;m positive your body
Will benefit by the ton.
So excercise is the order of the day,
Instead of staying indoors watching TV.
It;s all part and parcel,
Of being a healthier me.
