THE 2016 A TO Z CHALLENGE: E IS FOR...........

 WELCOME TO DAY 5 ON THE A TO Z CHALLENGE:
MY THEME IS HOW TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY BODY
AND MIND
 THE PAUL MCKENNA PHD: WAY
E IS FOR
 EXCERCISE:
Now that're your eating a good varied diet,
Excercise is a most important thing.
It may not involve a visit to the gym,
Just ordinary walking should give you that zing.

A walk around the block a couple of times a day,
Is all one needs to do.
Why not buy a pedometre,
To establish how many steps or how few you do?

Even walking from room to room,
Pushes your step intake up considerably.
When you get into the walking habit,
It just comes naturally.

If like me you live by the coast,
And is within easy reach.
Why not take advantage,
And take a refreshing walk along the beach?
 
The sea air is an extra bonus,
Getting fresh air in your lungs.
I;m positive your body
Will benefit by the ton.
 
So excercise is the order of the day,
Instead of staying indoors watching TV.
It;s all part and parcel,
Of being a healthier me.

  1. I jog five miles four to five times a week and jogging at the beach would be awesome!

  2. I'm inspired by your poem - can't wait to go a for a walk in the evening ... it's too hot outside right now and will have to wait for the sun to come down :) I really admire those who can rhyme - that's one thing I can't :D

  5. I would love to walk on the beach every day. It would be better than the roads I use now.

  6. I have to share this story with you today, Yvonne. I was traveling with a friend who wore a pedometer. She's a large person who would like to be smaller, so she wants lots of steps each day. On our trip together, her pedometer registered more steps on buses than on foot. Yes! We had a great laugh over that.
