THE 2016 A TO Z CHALLENGE: R IS FOR.......

 WELCOME TO THE 18TH LETTER OF THE
A TO Z CHALLENGE 2016.
MY THEME IS HOW TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY BODY
AND MIND
 THE PAUL MCKENNA PHD WAY.

R IS FOR
Should life get tense,
Here is the remedy...a true fact.
Go into a quiet room,
close your eyes and totally relax.

If like me you have some CDS,
Play them by all means.
You will feel the benefit.
As you feel like in a dream.


Relaxation is a part of my day,
Despite all my trials and tribulations.
I relax twice a day.
Wherever I've been throughout the nation.


It's such an easy thing to do,
Your body and mind will reap the rewards.
Relaxation to me is essential,
As in life I go forward.

  2. Relaxation will be wonderful where both the physical and mental self are in a state of quiet. The quiet room is a perfect necessity. Rightly so Yvonne!

  4. I can't do it every day, but I do practice yoga three days a week, and the "relaxation" is a part of that practice--after I kill myself with numerous vinyasas, of course. Good word for the day.

  5. To relax I enjoy a nice walk. Tiger and I walk to the mailbox, a tenth of a mile from the house. We snap pictures of the flowers and clouds. We enjoy God's beautiful world. Then we sit on a bench for awhile and just listen to the sounds of nature, along with a train now and then. I also play the piano when I need a break.
