THE 2016 A TO Z CHALLENGE: S IS FOR .......

WELCOME TO THE 19TH LETTER IN THE
A TO Z CHALLENGE 2016:
MY THEME IS HOW TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY BODY
AND MIND.
 THE PAUL MCKENNA PHD WAY.

S IS FOR SEROTONIN

Should you feel unhappy,
The chances are easy to guess.
You could be lacking the brain happy chemical
Serotonin, making you feel a mess.

If Serotinin levels fall to low.
Along with other "Happy Neurotransmitters"
Not only does it cause unhappiness,
But can most certainly give    you the jitters.

To enusre theses chemicals don't fall low.
Make sure you eat a healthy diet.
Even overwork can cause depletion.
So if your unhappy....try it.

So if you're spirits are low.
Don't reach for the gin.
Just make sure your brain chemicals
Are the correct level, such as Serotinin.

  1. Excellent advice. I guess my serotonin levels must be okay though it would probably help if I did more physical activity.

  3. Ah ha! Another fine mess Adam got us into when he fell into sin in the Garden of Eden beyond the curse of work by the sweat of our brow! Now I know why work can be dangerous: it depletes my serotonins! I don't have enough to spare, not a square to spare and work wants to take what I have. Thanks for the informative poem!
