HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED?:
When you sit at your pc
Your heart in your post you pour.
Have you ever wondered
If other lives are better or worse than yours?
This was highlighted yesterday,
On the blog "Write With Fey".
Who gave some important advice
About a medical problem that won't go away.
The comments also highlighted,
Others who have problems in their life.
But they seem to get along
Amid much pain and the inevitible strife.
One never really realises,
What's outside their own four walls.
Friends on the other side of the world,
Who carry on and walk tall.
This was an eye opener for me,
As with many trials and tribulations.
There ARE people worse off than I,
Throughout this vast nation.
I retired to bed last night,
My blessing I did count.
Thinking about all my friends on line,
Who carry on without a doubt

Life is such that one needs to be healthy to savor its goodness. Any other privileges are bonus for good behavior! Wonderful lines Yvonne!

Always someone who has it worse and always someone who has it better, then things can change and be opposite.
ReplyDeleteVery right Pat, thanks for comment.

Hi Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteVery true in what you say in your thoughtful words. Although, of course, your own concerns are just as valid in their own way. Well said, Yvonne.

My Father use to tell us kids all the time, "Quit your complaining, things could always be worse." It is sad but true we are often better off than many others. Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteMy mother used to say that when we were small.
DeleteThanks for coming by Gregg, always welcomed.
Yvonne.
