THE WILD ENGLISHROSE:

THE WILD ENGLISHROSE:
Where I reside the garden next door,
Is in need of some tender loving care.
The grass has grown so very tall.
Also the weeds are all too evidently there.

Timber is thrown all over the place,
Large concrete slabs lay hidden.
The children  who live there,
Can't play there because they'are forbidden.

There at the end of this "Garden",
For all  to see who pass.
Is this beautiful "Wild" Englishrose,
Who stands tall to survey the grass.

They say wild flowers don't care where they grow,
In this case it's perfectly true.
It's a beautiful sight amongst all the mess,
A wonderful, wonderful view.
