IT'S SUNDAY:
The rain outside is pouring,
Onto my widow pane.
Another day I will be spending
The day indoors again.
Our British Summer is late arriving,
I hope it's better acrosss the pond.
May your plans go accordingly.
And not to feel despond.
I shall have a lazy day,
As sleep evaded me last night.
I'm off to wash my hair,
As not to look a dreadful sight.
Happy Sunday everyone.
Whatever you may do.
Should you be having sunny weather.
May your smile match it too.

We've gotten some rain, but our summer has definitely arrived.

Our L.A. day turned hot and dry. We spent the morning cleaning house after having visitors for the past week and packing up for our trip. We left the house at 2 PM to start traveling north. I was amazed at how much traffic there was. We drove 300 miles in heavy traffic.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow as we head into northern California and Oregon I would expect traffic to lessen a great deal. I hope so. We have 10 days of driving ahead of us as we head into Canada and cross that great country before we swing down into New England toward New Jersey. It's an epic trip for sure. Probably get a lot of rain in Canada according to weather reports.
