THE BLESSINGS OF A FAMILY:
( IN AN IDEAL WORLD.)
How I hoped it would be:
Pic: above my daughter, son-in law and my four grandchildren:
Having been blessed with a family of three,
A daughter and two sons.
One by one as they entered this world,
Giving so much pleasure and endless fun.
Youngest son John and bride in Spain:
My eldest son Rob, daughter Donna and myself:
Each one unique in every way,
We encouraged their individual talents.
My daughter loved to dance, one son computers,
The other son a footballer that was apparent.
They were reared to be respectful and honest.
Which they are to this very day.
Their decisions they make in their every day life,
Are respected by me all the way.
They have shown such compassion to me.
Since their dear father passed away.
Although one son now resides in Spain,
I hear from him many a day.
We still share that same sense of fun.
As tears of laughter we cried.
When I made a complete fool of myself,
At the park as I did descend the children's slide.
Monetary wealth you can keep.
I'm rich beyond compare.
For in them I have everything.
As my unconditional love they share.
With three children I've been certainly blessed.
Now as a grandmother to grandchildren four.
I am proud and privilledged they are my family,
Who can ask for anything more?

Lovely pics and an ideal poem. Alas nothing is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat's true Joanne, nothing or for that matter no-one is perfect. But I live in hope.

An ideal world is being 100% to be achieved. In reality one achieves more in the heart. It's what one feels that is important and the pics attest to that, Yvonne!

Yes you're right Hank, but I still live in hope my family will want me again.
