MY TUESDAY PHONE CALL:

MY TUESDAY PHONE CALL:
As many of you may know,
My son has resumed talking to me from Spain.
I phone him on his day off from work.
Lovely to hear his voice again.

He and his wife went away last week-end,
To celebrate both their birthdays.
They had a wonderful time so he said.
Although they didn't go too far away/

He was telling me about his forthcoming visit,
To see family here in the UK.
Around the end of November,
I am certainly looking forward to that day.

He has also invited me over to Spain,
Saying our little misunderstanding is all in the past.
It's the future that is now important,
I hope his words continue to last.

It was so wonderful to be on speaking terms again,
A feeling of being wnated.
I wish my other two children would be like their brother,
As I am in the dark to know how  the situation started.

  2. Wonderful news, Yvonne. I'm so happy for you. Perhaps this is just the beginning and your other children will soon settle their differences too.

    1. Thank you Beverly, John in Spain would never go that long without keeping in touch. The other two could learn a lesson or two from him.

  3. A lack of communication always leads to issues. Glad everything is resolved and you'll get to see him next month.

  9. Great! Things worked themselves out. If pursued often enough in thoughts they have a way of making it happen. Keep at it Yvonne!
