OPEN YOUR EYES:
I wrote this eight years ago,
I have had caused to read this and
practice what I write:
OPEN YOUR EYES:
If things are not going well,
Please don't despair.
Take a look around you,
There are people who care.
They care about your every need.
What e'er that need may be.
Just open up your eyes,
And you will surely see.
You'll see the sunshine in the day,
The moon and stars by night.
With open eyes, yes
It's a wonderful sight.
You'll also see the flowers
In the garden growing.
After the gardeners took time,
With their seeds a sowing.
But happiness you'll find,
If you will take heed.
As the old proverb says.
!A friend in need is a friend indeed"

I needed your beautiful thought provoking words today, as well. They truly resonated with me. Thanks for the reminder to open my eyes and look around when things aren't going well. I need to look past the sadness and find the love and compassion because it is right there in front of me. Thank you. I stopped by from Chrys's Mobster blogfest.

Sometimes I'm too busy to notice all the awesome things in my day. This is a good reminder to slow down and absorb the world.
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping by Dolorah, also for the kind words.
