NOVEMBER'S IWSG:
Happy November to one and all:
WHAT I GET OUT OF WRITING:
Poetry writing for me
Begun seriously after two berevemnets.
I found I could write my thoughts on paper,
To get some sort of relievement.
It helped me put my then life
Into some sort of perspective.
I'd sit for many an hour.
Looking back still reflecting.
It was only when I could look,
To some sort of a life alone.
My poetry became more cheerful,
The future had a more secure tone.
Throughout the past years,
I've had my ups and downs.
I've had many days of laughter,
Alas many days of frowns.
Writing poetry has also
Given me the added bonus of friends,
That I've gained through this wonderful blogging site
The wonderful comments they send.
Yes! writing certainly made a difference to my life.
With four books and charity work behind me,
Although I am going through an insecure phrase right now.
Looking to the future happiness I see.

Happiness is what goodness is there in the current state and what is there in store. It is just wonderful that you have both, Yvonne! You have firstly your poetry writing to keep you happy and secondly future hopes and grand aspirations. Just keep going Ma'am!
