Here's another Christmas poem from my books.

SPANISH CHRISTMAS:
In Spain they celebrate Christmas Day
On the sixth of January.
Should you care to read on,
I will explain why.
They exchange their gifts,
On that day.
When the Three Wise Men,
Found Jesus sleeping on the hay.
I was lucky to spend
A few Christmases there.
As well as celebrating our own special day,
It was exciting to celebrate The Spanish Way.
On the fifth of January,
There is a carnival-like procession,
That goes from street to street.
Throwing sweets to the nation.
Where my son resides,
On his apartment balcony.
After one procession,
Sweets there were a plenty.
Christmas Day on the beach
Is another must.
After Christmas Dinner is consimed,
One feels fit to bust.
I enjoyed my life in Spain
In my own particular way.
Especially celebrating
Two Christmas Days.
