THE FLOWERS:AND WHAT THEY REPRESENT:

THE FLOWERS: AND WHAT THEY REPRESENT
Each week I buy flowers,
And place in the hallway  of mine.
They are placed behind a photo.
Which to me looks so fine.

You see I can't get to my husband's grave.
As it's quite along way to go.
Esspecially this time of year,
When it's cold, rainly and the winds to blow.

This photo was taken just a week
Before he left me.
He is holding our first granchild Josh.
The pride in this eyes you can see.

So each week I buy flowers.
To show people his memory lingers on.
I remember with pride the happiness we shared.
For the thirty five years we had fun.

*Josh (the baby above) is now 18 yrs old.

  1. That's sweet you buy flowers for him every week. It doesn't matter that you can't put them on his grave.
