THE BEGINNING AND END OF THE DAY:

THE BEGINNING AND END OF THE DAY:

When I awaken in the morning,
To a beautiful sunrise.
I wonder what life has in store for me,
As I gently rub my eyes.

Will it be today my special
Dreams come true?
Or do I have to wait another day,
Smile and muddle through.

You see I have some dreams.
Some large, other small.
I don't want to go through my life,
Banging my head against a brick wall.

I know with motivation and tenacity,
I'll get there in the end.
For the unexpected is always there
Awaiting around the bend.

I've already achieved one goal.
A big turning point I may say.
So I'll put a smile on my face
To welcome the new day.

When the day is over
My blessings I will count.
"Today's Gratitude Buys You Tomorrow's Happiness"
That's what life is all about.

  6. Lovely. Each day is new. We can't change what happened yesterday. We don't know about tomorrow. So enjoy today, be happy, and make someone else happy too, if it's only with a thought or prayer. Hugs.

Very wise words Yvonne! Happiness is to be experienced one at a time so that the blessings are equitably spread out! You got the idea right!
