MIDWEEK WEDNESDAY:

 MIDWEEK WEDNESDAY:
After a dreary start.
The sun is beginning to shine.
That puts a smile on everyone's face.
To prove they;re feeling fine.

I have another reason to be happy,
Last night just before going to sleep.
I glanced at my IPhone.
Was astonished at what I did peep.

My son John from Sunny Spain,
Had sent me an e mail.
Wishing me belated "Happy Mother's Day".
Somehow I knew he would not fail.

So my two sons remembered.
What a joy to behold.
Alas my only daughter,
Left me out in the cold.

But that will not dampen my spirits.
I'm feeling much better you see.
There's still a light at the end of the tunnel,
Shinning alongside me.

  3. So glad you heard from your sons Yvonne, especially as things had been a bit fraught between you and John a while ago. Definitely a good reason to smile :)
