THE A TO Z CHALLENGE 2017:
My theme this year is RYHTHM AND THYME:
Which consists of a song and a poem:
Hope you enjoy:
is for QUANDO,QUANDO QUANDO
by
ENGLEBERT HUMPERDINCK:
I was wondering what the words
Did mean this "Quando"
So enlisted the help of the dictionary,
But it didn't have the lingo.
Is it a Spanish word,?
Or from Mexican or Brazil?,
I couldn't find that out either.
So in the dark I remain still.
I did love hearing the song,
By an established singer.
But I would still love to know
What it means.........that's a sure dead ringer.
I used to have a lot of Engelbert's songs - quando, quando, quando among them - brought back a raft of good memories! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteQuando means when, the original song was Italian...I think...okay, found it :) youtube is a wonderful thing!
