A POEM OF A BIT OF MINDLESS INFORMATION:

A POEM OF A BIT OF MINDLESS INFORMATION:

Many, many years ago,
My husband to be and I.
Used to frequent our local dancehall,
My how the time do fly.

A familiar figure at the dance hall
Was a "Bouncer" my husband knew.
Many years on  he became well known
Yes, by quite a few.

You may ask "Where Is This Leading?"
Your curiosity I have aroused.
You see my "Blogging Buddies"
That "Bouncer;s" name was Dave Prowse.

The same Dave Prowse,
Of "Darth Vadar's fame.
Which was a character in "Star Wars"
Yes! the very same.

We resided in the city of Bristol,
Here in the UK.
Dave it appears was born there,
That's what I read today.

My husband was astounded.
When in Star Wars we saw Dave.
Recalling our time at the dancehall,
When Dave was about one had to behave.

Well that's my "Mindless Information"
I thought you may like to read.
I thought I'd write something different.
Yes sir, yes indeed.

    1. Thank you Nilanjana for your comment, It wasn't a glamourous life just going to a dance hall a few times a week until the children came along.

    1. Yes Alex, as written he used to ensure all was well at the local dancehall. My husband knew him longer than I and was so suprised when he turned up on Star Wars.
