YESTERDAY'S ACT OF KINDNESS:

YESTERDAY'S ACT OF KINDNESS:
On tuesday night it rained non stop,
Which continued into yesterday.
It's a day that went terribly wrong,
Is about what I'm going to say.

I arose up early yesterday,
As essential provisions I did need.
Otherwise I would go hungary
Without anything in on to feed.

Well I ventured out in the rain,
Got soaked from toe to my head.
I still had a way to get to the shop,
I wished I'd had stayed in bed.

Having purchased my much needed food.
I proceeded the journey home.
Little did I know or realise,
What there was to come.

I suddednly had an Epiletic seizure,
In the pouring rain.
But some kind person attended to me,
To help get me on my feet again.

They took me back home to my apartment,
Their kindness knew no bounds,
Made me a hot drink to warm me,
They were holidaymakers I later found.

Kindness dosen't cost anything I believe,
It's a pity it's a rarity where I reside.
It was wonderful to know I was safe.
And my thanks to those strangers I can't hide.

  1. OMG Yvonne - what a terrible thing to happen to you and thank goodness there were people who knew how to take action and help you. I hope you're much better today. It's stopped raining and the sun is shining in this part of England so I hope it's a brighter outlook for you too :) Take care -
