ONWARDS TOWARDS JULY:
This the last day of June I face July with bittersweet memories,
July will be here tomorrow.
Bittersweet memories I will recall.
I will share some of them with you.
And hope I get through them all.
The sweet memory of '98.
Was when my first granchild appeared on the scene.
His birthday is on the fourth,
When he will be nineteen.
A bitter memory was ten days later,
My dear mother left me I fear.
A wonderful mother throughout my life.
One I loved so dear.
Then three days later I learned
My wonderful hubby was terminally ill.
It was like riding a roller coaster,
As I recall memories still.
But one has to look forward,
Albeit what problems arise.
I wish you a happy week-end and July.
Knowing with tenacity and hope I'll get by.
