THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY:

THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY:

Should you have read my post yesterday,
On July's ISWG.
You could not have failed to notice,
Could not have failed to see.

That I was upset about a person
Not seen in years,
Who has undergone Cancer surgery,
Causing me many tears.

What I failed to mention,
Believe me I was stunned.
That the person in question
Is my eldest son.

Today I have many thoughts,
On this sunny Thursday.
Many unanswered questions,
That will not go away.

He is now back at work,
That I would like to add.
But the thought I was not told sooner,
Is so very sad.

I hope your Thursday,
Is less thoughtful than mine.
That everything in your life
Is wonderful and fine.

  1. He's still with family which is what matters most. Maybe the experience will prod him to think about things.

    2. I do believe he will come round. He knows you care. You have to believe that and not push. Patience! Just an opinion my friend

    1. Ten years ago as I was moving back to the UK he was diagnosed with bladder cancer then eight years ago he stopped talking to me. I thought all was well but somewhere in the last five years his bladder was removed.
Thank you Beverly for your much appreciated comment.
