DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS:
I hope you all had a good Christmas Day.
With happiness all around.
Apart from my new CD/DVD and the TV
I didn't hear a sound.
Well apart from the rain lashing
On my window pane.
I saw or spoke to no-one.
Not a thing I wish to repeat again.
I always go for a walk Christmas afternoon,
This year alas I did not.
I felt like the little child
Santa Claus forgot.
One GOOD thing did occur.
I had a text from son in Spain.
It's good to know he remembered his mum,
And has written to me again.
Enjoy today everyone.
May weather and company be good.
It's still raining here on the South Coast,
I wish I get out for a while.....if only, if only I could.
HAPPY BOXING DAY.
YVONNE.

Greetings Yvonne. Sorry you spent Christmas day alone! :(. Glad you enjoyed your Daniel O'Donnell CD/DVD. Sorry it's been raining for you, we've had sunny, but cold, weather. A happy Boxing Day to you. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
We had two hours of sun today then rain, rain and more rain.

I am back to work - ugh. But guess I'm happy I have a job.
ReplyDeleteHey - a text is a start. You are in his heart!
Take care and stay dry. The sun will come out again soon for you.
Thanks Joanne for your comment, yes, a text is a start but he also sent me a Christmas card also.

It's good to hear that you got a card and a text from your son in Spain, I hope it won't be too long before you hear from him again.
ReplyDeleteThe weather here today was a mixture of intermittent sunshine and heavy rain showers - more rain than sun though and i got drenched while walking the dogs :-(
I hope so too Tigermouse, thanks for lovely comment.
