TRYING TO GET BACK ON TRACK:

TRYING TO GET BACK ON TRACK:
Having fallen by the wyaside,
Back on track I aim to be.
I've had so many kick starts,
How I want back the "Old Me".

Jist when I think I'm progressing,
It's like one step forward two steps back.
Well, today I aim to start again,
To get on the right track.

One thing I aim to do,
The hairdresser I must see.
With this horrible arthtitis in my arms,
My hair needs doing despairately.

It all depends if the hairdresser
Has any free appointments.
I will phone him when he's open,
To spare me any disappointments.

One can only try  I suppose,
To get the life and person you want to be.
But it's all down to one person.
That one person being ME.

HAPPY NEW WEEK:

  4. yep - keep on track and that engine running forward. No derailments. Slow down when necessary, but keep rolling along. Good poem for forward momentum

  7. I think we all get derailed now and then. I know I have, but I've always managed to get back on track. I need to remember to ask my wife to trim my hair this weekend. Not much care needed for my small crop of hair.

    1. I am sure you're right Lee with all of us getting derailed.
But it's knowing how to get on track is the secret,
      Made it to the hairdressers.

      Yvonne.
