A WHITE HELLO TO MARCH:

A WHITE HELLO TO MARCH:
With nonstop snow yesterday,
Also bitterly winds so cold.
With more of the same to day,
At least that's what we've been told.

We don't often get snow here,
On the South Coast of the UK.
But it made one forget ,
That spring is on it's way.

I returned to the comfort
Of by bed...as I will today.
My apartment is non to warm.
So I will read the day away.

Thank goodness I have food in the larder,
I couldn't attempt to get out.
At my age and Epilepsy, I'd be asking for trouble.
That's without a doubt.

Hope your day and weekend,
Is much better than here.
Whaterever your plans,
I wish you much good cheer.

  2. Glad you have food and blankets. Huddle under with a good book and watch it snow. Be careful!

  5. I wish I could send you our warm sunshine, Yvonne. The kitties and I have enjoyed being outside. The wind is a bit chilly, but I'm not complaining. Hope your weather grows warmer soon.

  7. Hope the snow is short-lived and that you are soon flooded with sunshine. It's hit the northeast coast pretty hard here too.
