SHARING THE GOOD TIMES:
This week for me has not been good,
That I can relate.
But I hope to try and forget what happened.
It's something I suppose called fate.
I share with you something good,
That happened yesterday.
It was such a lovely feeling.
That I have to say.
You see this coming Sunday,
Is Mother's Day here in the UK.
I was really gobsmacked,
What the mailman brought my way.
It was in the shape of a card,
From my eldest son ..not far away.
Wishing me all the best,
On this Mothers Day.
You see this is the first card he's sent,
Since 2009.
It made me feel on "Top Of The World".
A feeling so sublime.
Perhaps it's the first step,
Of getting back in the time to come.
But at least he remembered.
He still has a loving mum.
I wanted to share this with you,
And thanks for the support in the past.
Hoping that this "Happy Feeling"
That for me will last.
Should my other son and daughter forget,
I do have one card on display,
As I will recall fond memories,
On Sunday........Mother's Day.
Should my other son and daughter forget,
I do have one card on display,
As I will recall fond memories,
On Sunday........Mother's Day.

How good of your son Yvonne! These are the ones who have compassion and they know how to utilize such elements. Hoping it'll all rub on, on the others!

I think we can say that this is some progress. Hopefully all of your kids will see you as the only mother they've got and a person they need to cherish.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day!
