THE RETURN:
A while ago I wrote
About the disappearance of the cats.
The ones that were roaming my street.
From Sunday til Sat.
Ones that would chase the birds,
Also in our garden lay.
They suddenly vansihed.
Forever and a day.
But the other day whilst out walking.
I espied a few by chance.
One underneath a stationary car.
I gave a seconed glance.
As I continued my walk along the street,
Some more came into view
I wonder where they went for a while.
I just haven't got a clue.
It's lovely that they have returned,
Makes the place more like home.
I sincerely hope they remain here,
For some time to come..

Probably found a new spot, so off they did trot, then time to come back, so they did by the pack.
ReplyDeleteYou're probably right Pat.

The cats followed birds south for the winter. Now they are back!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're right Joanne, Thanks for coming by.

Maybe they'd just cleared your neighborhood of birds and mice and went looking elsewhere for a while.
ReplyDeleteYes Alex maybe,

Maybe they found a source of food which is no longer there - it's nice to know that they're back :)

Glad the cats are back. We have a plague that says, A home without a cat is just a house.
ReplyDeleteLoved the words on the plaque Gregg.
