HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED?

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED?
Have you ever wondered,
I hope I haven't produced the wrong vibes.
Why my wonderful family,
Don't want me in their lives.

I wish I knew the reasons,
As sure as Heaven above.
Why I am deprived.
Of their special love.

They all had happy childhoods,
Happy as turtle doves.
One thing they were never short of
Was their mother and fathers' love.

The trials and tribulations of teenage years,
Problems were sorted out.
No need to slap or turn our backs,
No need to scream and shout.

They are parents themselves now,
To my apron strings I don't want them tied.
But once in a while to get a hug,
With their loving arms open wide.

I have been the best mother
To my ability.
So have you ever wondered
What sort of mother was/is me?

  2. Sometimes life is confusing. Have your children never told you the reason they're so distant? I would think they owe you that much, at the least. Then, perhaps problems, whatever they are, can be solved, if the problems are known. I wish I could help. Praying for understanding. May your day be a good one, with questions answered.

    1. Thank you Beverly for your comment. No my kids have not told me why, I have always sent birthday and Christmas cards/money to all but no reply.
I do appreciate your comment more than you will ever know.

      Yvonne.

  3. Very poignant. I really hope you hear from your kids soon. I agree with Beverly, it would be helpful to know what exactly the problem is.
