HOW I SPENT SATURDAY AFTERNNON:

HOW I SPENT SATURDAY AFTERNOON:

Saturday afternnon , after all the gloom and doom.
To the hairdressers I proceeded to go.
A visit way over due ,
This I tell you so.

It was a visit I kept putting off,
Because of one thing or another.
I won't leave it so late again.
Even though I think it's a bother.

I entered looking quite a mess,
Not good for one's morale.
Spent a couple of hours in good company,
Which indeed made me feel well.

After having the grey hair hid,
Shampooed and cut also.
I looked more like the "Yvonne " I knew.
So many months ago.

With lovely weather to boost my image,
I carefully walked home.
Thinking Tennessee won't reconisse me,
When he next do come.

Well today here is a Public Holiday,
Another lovely day no doubt.
Have a great day yourselves,
That's what life is all about.

  5. How fun - a spruced up head of hair does wonders for the attitude. You are now ready for May and spring....awesome. I'm glad your hairdresser spoiled you, no doubt. Take care and hold that head high!
