THE PLUMBER COMETH:

THE PLUMBER COMETH:
Twas late afternoon,
The plumber decided to call.
After detailed inspection,
What he said I didn't like at all.

It appears the hot water heater,
Has finally had it's day.
A new one had to be ordered,
"It Will Take A Week" to me he did say.

I have no hot water in the kitchen,
Or likewise in the bathroom.
Causing me considerable inconvieninece,
Oh what gloom and doom.

The shower however is usable,
As it's run from a different outlet.
So at least I can be clean in body
At the evening sunset.

At best there's no more water
cascading down the downstair wall.
Yes ! twas on a Mmonday afternoon
The plumber decided to call.

  1. Your poem reminds me of the old Flanders & Swann comedy song 'The gas man cometh'lol. A bit of a bummer that you have to wait to have a new hot water heater installed but at least you can still have a shower :)

It is good that the plumber came. The water source is now in better control

  3. At least the leak has been stopped. I guess you'll be boiling water to wash dishes for a while.

  4. well, at least the plumber called, showed up, and stopped the water from cascading. That's good. And in a week, all will be fresh and toasty. So that's good. In between...try to not get dirty!

  8. Good news and bad. It is so frustrating when we have no control. Hope they run ahead of schedule. You never know.

  9. Greetings Yvonne. Glad your leak is resolved, but so sorry you have to wait another week to get your hot water back on! Tut. At least you can shower - especially in this heat where we are prone to sweat more. Blessings to you. Love love, Andrew.
