A NEW WEEK:
Once again a new week is here,
May it be a happy one.
Full of hope, reflections of the past.
And of course full of fun.
I personally have a reflective one.
Thinking of loved ones departed.
But after all is said and done.
Each day is a new day started.
May the sun shine in your hearts,
Whatever the weather may be.
That as you travel each new day of this week.
My each day end cheerfully.
HAVE A GOOD WEEK:
Yvonne Lewis: 09/09/2019.
starting the week still hot - but not 100, only 97. Ugh. This is getting old (remind of this when I complain about the cold). Have a good week
ReplyDeleteIt quite cold here today Joanne....not used to it now.

I have a lot of thoughts of loved ones gone too but try to start my days fresh like you. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWednesday will be a hard day for me Natalie, Hope your week goes well.

Easier said than done, Yvonne, but for Wednesday, knowing it will be a hard day, try to do something a little cheerful and try to get out of the house if you can at least for a little bit. This too will pass but it is always hard to get through the passing.

If the weather improves I shall go out Betty. It's colder and wet at the moment.
DeleteEnjoy your week.

For some reason, I've been thinking a lot about the season that is about to change...again and it's bringing me down. I love fall, but not winter. There is a freedom gained in Spring through Fall. In the winter, I feel trapped.
ReplyDeleteThere is also a freedom that we feel when we have our loved ones near. Your poem is wonderful and makes me think of transitions.

A lovely poem, Yvonne. Enjoy your new week. I had similar thoughts to yours today. This is the birthday of our firstborn son who lived only two days. I cried and then told him I'd see him in Heaven one day. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss Beverly,it must have been awful for you. I did know John for 50 yrs and have wonderful memories.
DeleteThanks for coming by.
Yvonne.
I usually end my day with some blog reading and writing so it usually ends pretty good.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your most welcome comment.

I know, because I'm reading backwards and catching up again, that some wonderful things happened to you in the days since you wrote this post, Yvonne! That makes me very happy! I was off chasing a helicopter and a lineman on this day. You've probably figured out by now that I am easily distracted ~ LOL Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteThank you Louise for all the comments. much appreciated.
