A MORE PEACEFUL DAY?

A MORE PEACEFUL DAY?
After yesterday's horrendous weather,
Although still rainly and gusts of wind.
It's not so bad as yesterday.
This news to you I send.

We had a calm and dry night.
Although sleep was hard to come.
But had a lie in this morning,
Sleep? I had some.

The wind is now howling,
The rain battering down.
Will have to remain indoors.
But on my face will remove the frown.

A quotation came to mind last night
This I did recall.
"Don't Worry About What May Never Happen
OrWorry About What You Have No Control"

Hope your Tuesday is wonderful
And that peace doth reign supreme.
I've learned things are never as bad,
As bad as they do seem.

  1. Just stay indoors. Good day to write or read. Or both!

  3. Hope you can catch a little nap today to make up for a stormy night. And no leaks? That would be a plus since you have a new roof, etc. Take care.

    1. Had a short nap after lunch, weather not good again but it's nice not to have leaks. The man in the apartment over me is over the moon about that fact. Hope your day is good.

  4. Hi, Yvonne! It sounds like it was a perfect morning for a lie-in. My grandmother MacDonald used to say, "Don't borrow trouble." You wisely didn't! Have a good Wednesday!
