HAPPY NEW WEEK:

HAPPY NEW WEEK:
The onset of another new week,
Most evident in every way.
I sincerely hope problems are few,
Wishing you a happy week and today Monday.

The weather here is hot,
Another stroll around the streets.
Still wondering if I'm taking a risk
With the people I happen to meet.

It's all part and parcel
Of this continued loneliness,
That has engulfed my life.
Feeling and looking a complete mess.

I have much to think about and consider,
About my hair appointment next week.
Again, do I take the risk and go.
With the virus in places reaching a peak.

I hope your new week is more settled.
May happiness reign supreme.
May you go about your days.
Achieving your everyday dreams.

  1. Glad you're still getting out. Wear your mask and go to that hair appointment. You'll feel better.

  2. Wear your mask and wash your hands. I've had my hair cut here in TX and the salon has always done cleaning, now they have it racheted up. I support caution, but I do believe that your walks, etc are okay. No hugging! Take good care and let's have a super week

  4. It will do you good to go see your hairdresser. At least you don't have a hurricane headed your way.

    1. I know it will do be a power of good and no we don't have a hurricane but the virus is climbing once more.
      Thanks for coming by Diane.
      Take care.

  5. If you wear a mask when people walk by you should be fine on your walks. Then take it off or pull it down after you pass them. It is hot here too but that is Arizona in the summer

    1. Here there are many visitors as I live on the coast, they do not do social distancing and it is very alarming when you see quuite a few. I do wear a mask but wearing it I get more Epiletic seizures.
Do have a good week Betty.

  6. I hope you go to the hair appointment. I was so relieved when I could go again though wearing a mask for such a long period of time wasn't fun. Getting out and walking is also good.

  7. I hope that your week is going well, Yvonne. It is hard to be isolated. Just know you have blogging friends who care about you! I understand your worries about the rise in cases. It is disconcerting. Kudos to you for wearing your mask when you go out! I'm focusing on not touching my mask or face when I'm out and about. ~ Also I make sure I have glasses on. And I wash my hands thoroughly, frequently, especially when I return home. That's supposed to cut down the risk substantially, so I'm trusting in the science. I'm going to the dentist tomorrow for the first time. That will help me think about whether or not to go to the hairdresser. Hugs to you!

    1. That is awsome Louise going to the dentist, I'm still debating the hairdressers but my hair is a real mess .....the first time in my life. Good tips you have given about cutting down risk.
