Yesterday for me was awful,
From start until the end.
My hair appointment not accomplised.
This news to you I send.
I was on my way to the hairdressers
With the heat I did collapse.
I came home feeling awful,
As I took off my face mask.
I put myself to bed,
To try and get some sleep.
Then my epilepsy decided to awaken me.
My desparate thought so deep.
We are due thunder today,
As the heat persists.
The loneliness at such times,
Thinking of things I miss.
Once again enjoy your day,
Hope you have some treats instore.
I must try and get my new Blogger set up,
If I want to blog forever more.

Oh my. So sorry the heat took you out. Glad you did get home to rest and hope you are better today. Don't be discouraged - you tried, the weather and stress conspired against you. Chin up and take care

Sounds like you really had it rough. I pray that you'll have a much better day today and that the weather will cool down for you. I can relate to that. Our temperature is supposed to reach 102 today. Thank heavens for air conditioning. Will be thinkning about you. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWe are not used here to hot weather so 86 degrees for us was hot Beverly. It caused me many minor epelietic seizures plus the eventual thunder and rain that follwed was not good.

I'm sorry to hear that the heat took you out, Yvonne! Heat is miserable. It can really skewer you. We've had to put our air-conditioning on several days this week. I don't like to do that, but when it gets above 85ºF in the house, I have to give in. I'm also sorry that you didn't get your hair done. I know you were looking forward to it! My skunk line is now as wide as the width of my head ~ LOL! It will likely be ear-to-ear before I can get to a hair salon. I keep hearing my sister Barb asking me, "Is it worth your life?" Sigh. Most days not. And you can just start calling me Rapunzel. Kudos to you for using common sense and taking care of yourself. Please take care, my friend!
