HAPPY WEEKEND:
The weekend is upon us again,
Do have a wonderful time.
May it all go plain sailing,
With not many hills to climb.
The weather here is windy,
Rain has yet to come.
Who knows the forecast may be wrong,
With the appearance of the sun.
I shall be listening to my new
Danny Boy CD.
So let the weather do what it likes,
As I listen contentedly.
Have you any exciting plans?
With the ending of the week.
Whatever you may be doing.
May happiness you seek.
May that happiness bring peace,
And a calm state of mind.
Amid the worries of the world.

Greetings. Got rather cold overnight - a brisky 53 F. Brrr... not accustomed to this. Reading and Netflix - that's the agenda today. Enjoy your new tunes!
ReplyDeleteYes Joanne the cold do come as a shock when it arrives. It has continually poured with rain all day and exceptionally high winds..... so walked around the apartment and stairs to excercise whilst earplugs in listening to Danny Boy.

Happy weekend to you too Yvonne! Its a beautiful weekend here weather wise! Going to get pumpkins this afternoon to carve on Monday and then taking the grandson to the park (first time in 7 months; parks finally reopened here). We got hand sanitizer and a plan to make sure it is a safe time for him while he is playing on the playground.

I'm running behind again, today is Monday. Maybe I'll catch up one day. Our weather has turned cold and rainy. I went to the store so now we can eat while we stay enside and watch the rain hrough the window. Have a lovey week.
