HERE'S TO A PEACEFUL NEW WEEK:

Another Monday has dawned.

A new week has begun.

I hope it will be peaceful,

Who knows? perhpas get some fun.

 

Although extremely cold,

The sun has shown his face.

Ensuring it may bring a smile

Upon the human race.

 

No let up on the virus yet,

Or in the world unrest.

One have to have hope in our hearts,

If in life we require the best.

 

Hopefully you're all well.

As this new week does commence.

All fear and troubles diminishing,

I for one may regain some common sense.

    we do need a calm week especially in the USA - today is Martin Luther King Jr Day - need to reflect on his hard work to reach that mountaintop - not there yet. Then Wednesday - a new administration - we need that to go peacefully. I hope your good wish for the week do come true. Stay well and enjoy some sunshine.

    We have to have faith in a better tomorrow, Yvonne. I am feeling much more hopeful now with the inauguration of a new president tomorrow. It was soothing, moving to hear Biden's speech at the Lincoln Memorial this evening to honor all of those in our country who have died from Covid. Such recognition of this tragedy in our country and the world is long overdue. Please take care, my friend. There is much to look forward to. Hugs to you!
