HI, ON WEDNESDAY:

After a busy Tuesday,

Today I'm going to take a rest.

Am going to catch up on some reading,

Books of the very best.

 

Yesterday had some important  calls,

On the telephone no less.

Had wonderful chats with daughter and son,

Most uplifting I must confess.

 

Then in the evening  as usual,

Son-in -law. groceries brought to my door.

I will be forever in his debt for his kindness,

Now and forever more.

 

May your Wednesday be uplifting,

Despite all the gloom and doom.

With happiness in your heart and a smile,

For that there is always room.

    Glad you spent part of Tuesday connecting with family. Just enjoy a book or two today.

      Yes Alex, it is always lovely talking to the family, my son can't go to work during lockdown because of past health issues. He gets easily bored.

    I'm not going to declare a happy Wednesday yet (we'll see what awaits me at work), but I hope you have an excellent day. Fresh food in the pantry is a plus. Glad you had fun chats, etc. Cheers!

    Having the family around to help out is much relieve. It is a blessing that has been bestowed to the whole family. A 'Karma thing' following all the good deeds and good thoughts you you've extended last year. Keep at it Yvonne!
