THOUGHTS ON WEDNESDAY:


 THOUGHTS ON WEDNESDAY:

Tuesday done and dusted,

A busy day for sure.

New food stock for my cupboard,

And all chores done once more.


Today is for reflection,

On the new restictions that are planned.

A very cautious Prime Minister ,

Gave his speech Monday throughout the land.


Schools will reopen in March,

But lockdown will remain.

Hairdressers and the like  open in April,

Perhaps then I'll look more sane???


He's doing things gradual,

Incase the virus flares again.

Causing much unhappiness,

Causing so much pain.


So today I will be thinking,

A thing new to my brain.

As I sit and gaze out of the window

At yet more heavy rain.


May your Wednesday be good,

As to you I send my love.

Remember, above the clouds,

There's always the blue skies up above.

    Good luck on the new slow opener. It does give hope. All fine here - working like crazy to catch up from last week, so time's going by fast. And we warmed up - 70 deg.F from -2 last week. Crazy. Stay well and don't think too too much!
