THE A TO Z CHALLENGE 2021:......S

THE A TO Z CHALLENGE 2021:

Continuing my travels that accumulated

Over many years of flying and road travel.

S IS FOR SAN FRANCISCO:

I've been to San Francisco twice dear friends.

Each time was a pleasure.

Both times stayed at the Holiday Inn.

And looked around at our leisure.

Above is me in my "Plumper days,"

On my birthday this was taken.

Glad to say the weight has dropped.

Gladly I've forsaken.

I visited Fisherman's Wharf there,

Bought many souviners.

For my family and friends back home.

Wishing they could have been here.

This was taken from the coach,

As we left San Francisco Bay.

With quite a few more places to visit,

I'll leave for another day.

  1. And as Tony sings, "you left your heart (a bit of it at least) in San Francisco". It is quite a unique city - so pretty with so much to see and do. Clang! Clang! goes the trolley....Nice

  4. I've been in San Francisco several times, and it is a wonderful city. I'd love to return. Kudos to you for losing weight. It is not easy to do. I'm now working on losing that Covid seven pounds I put on. I'll get there! Have a great weekend, Yvonne. Hugs to you!

    1. I agree Louise San Francisco is a wonderful place. Yes lost the weight, have lost even more since this pandemic started.
      Did you get Covid Louise?.
Take care both yourself and Terry.

  5. Yes, Frisco! A great city like no other. The cable cars were still operating then. The workers had to 'heave ho' when getting it around at the end of the line. Given the undulating 'landscape' it was sheer genius to have the system.
