OH HECK, MY NECK:
After completing my Monday night's post,
I proceeded to turn the electric fire off.
I was just about to retire for the night.
When I suddenly had the urge to cough.
As I did cough, oh the pain.
I had muscle spasam in my neck.
Took a few pain relief pills,
Thinking what the heck?
By next morning it was decidely worse.
So the doctor's I did phone.
She made a home visit which was good of her
As she knew I lived alone.
She ordered me bed rest,
Saying she would call to-day (Wed)
Well she's just come and gone
I'm pleased to say.
Pleased that no real damage
Has been done.
Up and about again,
On my laptop having fun.
It should clear up completely..I hope.
But must take things easily.
It just goes to prove
That just a cough caused me so much agony.

Glad you're recovering quickly. Doesn't it suck when you hurt yourself coughing? I've pulled a muscle in my sleep - that was fun to explain.
