THE MAGIC OF NIGHT TIME:
a very early poem of mine.
When the stars are twinkling brightly
In the sky above.
The "Man in the Moon" turns on his light
To those who are in love.
They hug and kiss passionately
As ssome romantic tune
Plays softly in the background
Albeit January or June.
The magic of night time,
Is evident to see.
A gentle breeze caresses the lovers,
As they stroll alongside the sea.
With each waves"Kissing" their toes,
As they gaze lovenly into each other's eyes,
The tingling sensation that is experienced
At the onset of their sighs.
The magic of night time,
Is a gift from God above.
Let deep pleasure and happiness
Be in abundance to those who are in love.

Even after more than 30 years together, my husband and I love walking under the stars. You've really caught the feeling.

I am such a night person. I love the moon and stars, so I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI too can sit for hours at night looking at the moon and stars, only time I hate the night is when a thunder and ligheneing starts. The lughtening upset my epilepsy.

Beautiful. God has created a wonderful world for us to enjoy. The simple things like an ocean breeze, the water lapping at your toes, and a gentle kiss. :) Plus much more.
ReplyDeleteThanks Beverly for your lovely comment. Much appreciated.

Great poem! I love the night time also. Not only can it be very romantic, it is very rejuvenating. There is nothing like sitting outside under the stars on a warm evening with a cool breeze. Unless you are able to sit near the ocean or a lakeside and listen to the water race toward the shore and recede back into the darkness.
ReplyDeleteYes Gregg, it's refreshing to sit out under the stars , very relaxing.
