Gone is another week-end.
The start of another new week.
Everyone here in a hurry,
Off to work to earn money for their keep.
The trash men were up bright and early,
Emptying the bins at thrity minutes past five.
I appreciate they have many to empty.
To me that was still part of the night.
It's a mixture here weather wise.
The sun trying hard to sow it's face.
But dark cloud loom above I fear.
But it's good to belong to the human race.
The trees are blowing with gusto.
The pigeons and cats still around.
The children are all at school.
One can hardly hear a sound.
I shall be off shopping later.
To get the essentials I require.
Probably take a stroll along the beach.
Before I begin to tire.
Hope your week goes superbly,
Whether at work or at home.
May happiness always knock at your door.
Amid the ringing of the telephone.
