THE GOING ONS IN MY STREET:
The street where I reside,
Are lined both sides with trees.
Many birds have nest there,
Which isn't hard to believe.
However lately another activity
Has begun to take preference.
In the form of the pidgeons,
To which I will make a reference.
There are a pdgeon pair.
That bill and coo on my window ledge.
The noise go on for a considerable time,
As their love to each they pledge,
Should I have the window open,
As in hot weather I do.
The noise and antics that I see,
Have enlightened me Phew!!!!!
Should there be any pidgeon fanciers out there,
Come to my street please do.
There you will see in earnest.
Mother Nature's pidgeons bill and coo.
HAPPY WEEK TO ALL:

Romantic pigeons. How cute. We have a few pigeons, and I've heard them bill and coo. But I've never seen them, except when they're in the pasture eating. Think I'll leave them to their privacy. Wonderful post. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by Beverly and your lovely comment.
DeleteI hope in the winter they are not so noisy.
Yvonne.
No pigeons here. But my cats would love it if there were.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Chrys, yes, I'm sure your cat would have a feast.

When the pigeons flock over our place, it's mayhem. They are abundant!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy mother nature's family of animals and birds.
DeleteThanks for the visit.
Yvonne.
Perhaps one can be cooed by such loving care shown by the 'loving couple' But it takes a kind person to be aware of such going-ons that others might just miss. You are the lucky being Yvonne that gets such visits!
