This poem was my first ever Christmas poem
which I wrote not long after being widowed.
SILENT NIGHT:
At Christmas time our thoughts
Go back to yesteryear.
Thinking of our loved ones,
The ones who are not here.
But it's also a time if hope,
For on that "Silent Night".
God gave "His Beloved Son",
To help us see the light.
A light that would brighten the world,
So that all wars cease to be.
That future generations
Can live in harmony.
Let's join our hands together,
Let our voices sing as one.
Let's not forget that "Silent Night",
When hope for the world begun.

Harmony from sea to sea would be nice to come to be.
