QUESTION OF THE MONTH:
My three things I'd do if fear wasn't stopping me:
The first thing I would do
Would be to move back to Spain.
To be close to my son,
Where's there's less strife and pain.
I moved back to the UK
To start a new life.
With a man I had met,
But right from the start there was endlesss strife.
The second thing I'd do,
Is to go on a cruise.
Me being not too keen on the water,
And how rough it can move.
The third thing I'd do,
Would be to visit my grandchildren of four.
But fear once again
I'd get my face slammed by the door.
Three quite simple things
I would love to do.
But fear has a unique way
Of affecting you.

I've heard that cruises are a lot of fun, but like you I'm not too keen about being out in the open waters.

Tossing It Out
I crossed The Irish Sea a few times, vowed never to go on a boat again.

Spain sounds delightful!
ReplyDeleteYes Lee, it's a lovely life out there.

Your last fear makes me sad. I hope you can visit your grandchildren one day.
ReplyDeleteI would also like to go on a cruise, but I'm afraid of a Titanic catastrophe happening. lol
Crossing The Irish Sea put me off of water.

Fear can be a powerful thing if you let it. If I were you, I think I'd do that cruise thing for starters. Go have a good time!
ReplyDeleteHaving crossed the Irish Sea put me off of water.

I can recommend a cruise. I have only been once but had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
ReplyDeleteI have heard cruises are great then I think of crossing The Irish Sea, that was an experience.
