ONE MEMORY OF NASHVILLE:
from the book "Written From The Heart"
Saturday, the day of the concert stayed close to the hotel.
As on the evening was "The Night".
The event of Daniel's TV recording,
Natrually I didn't want to look a sight.
Natrually I didn't want to look a sight.
I strolled around the many hotel shops,
Which was situated all around.
Clothes plus gift shops along with fast food bars,
Was what I eventually found.
There were many cascades so imposing,
Which made impressive viewing.
I took some photograhs
Plus more before leaving.
The evening approached all to soon,
On the shuttle bus to Down Town I did go.
I wanted to get there early
I'd been waiting so long for this show.
Well over thirteen years I've attended
Many a Daniel show.
This one was a different formula
All I could say was "WOW"
He had Majella his wife as a guest
Looking so grand standing by his side.
Another guest was to appear,
The legendary Charlie Pride.
All in all it was a show to remember
Well worth the miles I'd flown.
We all queued to see him afterwards
His usual consideration and concern he shown.
He thanked me for making the journey
Asking"Did I like the show?"
We had our photograph taken
Which is just a formality by now.
As I climbed into my bed,
My mind recalled the night.
I wouldn't have missed it for the world,
Even though it was such a long flight.
